About Our Founder

Nathan Nussbaum

Nathan Nussbaum, the founder of MovMed, grew up in a family passionate about fitness, with avid runners and gym enthusiasts shaping his early exposure to exercise. Though his initial ACE certification has long expired, Nathan's real education came from seeking out mentors and applying his knowledge through hands-on experience. His journey was marked by head injuries and significant life traumas that filled his "stress bucket" early on. It was only when he met Chris Daly, co-founder of S10Fitness, that the vision for MovMed began to crystallize.

Nathan expresses deep gratitude to Chris Daly for his profound impact. “I want to thank Chris from the bottom of my heart for his wisdom and generosity. MovMed owes its existence to his caring nature and brilliant insights.”

Benjamin Thornton

Benjamin Thornton is MovMed's Program Coordinator and a Kinesiologist from Calgary, Alberta. He's been seeking improvement of his physical and mental health for over 6 years after being limited with injuries and chronic aches. Of all the other systems he's tried, MovMed has given him the most substantial relief from his issues, as well as very effective tools for working with clients including athletes, seniors, chronic pain cases, and more. His goals are to help himself and others feel more comfortable in their bodies, while performing the activities they love at a high and sustainable level.

David Fein

David Fein, DPT, originally from San Rafael, California, is MovMed’s Clinical Development Coordinator.  He holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University and has over a decade of experience including both clinical practice and clinical research. Multiple sports injuries as a teenager led him to seek out methods of rehabilitation that could address the root cause of his issues, which led him to studying eastern and western approaches to health.  It wasn’t until David met Ben and Nathan and tried MovMed that he found the tools he had been looking for.  He has 7 years of experience studying osteopathic manual therapy, and applies this experience to the MovMed process.

Nathan Nussbaum

Founder of MovMed
Raised in a family of runners and lifters, Nathan was no stranger to fitness—but injuries and life stress took a heavy toll early on. With an expired ACE certification and a hunger to heal, he learned through mentorship, application, and personal struggle. MovMed is the result of that journey.

His mission? To help people feel comfortable, confident, and strong in the bodies they live in.

David Fein

'MovMed in Clinic' Director
With over 10 years in clinical practice and research, David brings both western and eastern therapeutic knowledge to MovMed. A Doctor of Physical Therapy from Baylor University, he has studied osteopathic manual therapy for 7+ years.



His path to MovMed began with his own unresolved sports injuries—until he met Nathan and Ben.
