What is MovMed?
We're living in bodies smaller than they should be. MovMed restores the vital "pump" that has you looking, feeling and being a better version of yourself. To better understand the science of "The Pump" check out "The Biomechanics of MovMed" Booklets for sale on our homepage
How did MovMed come to be?
We developed our model from a direct need. Post-Concuss Nathan struggled to meet the energy demand of his early recovery journey. Having a newfound grasp on applied neurology (brain training), the "aha" moment of his recovery & what would become MovMed came in the form of passive cranial therapy. 10 minutes of hands on treatment in the same gym id learned the value of "nuero-hacks" left me crying from the weight lifted off me. What's the connection? Brain training is an active approach to rehab using too much assessment & cognitive energy for an overstressed system, but the right hacks take of years of rehab time or potentially remove the need all together with a deep "reset" & relearning of behavior. Manual therapy is a passive approach using too little energy and conscious relationship with tension change, resulting in less habituation of behavior. These are far end of the same rehab model, which for some reason remains separate. MovMeds proprietary approach intermodels passive benefits in an active structure, teaching you how to take your system through the extremes of effort without experiencing the extremes of stress. Our approach allows you to more actively recover, directly impacting your performance.
Who is it good for?
Most suited for this work: High performers with limited time but a high output schedule, athletes & chronically stressed persons. 

This work is hard. It's difficult to work through your own compensations without depending on them.

My optimistic answer: Everyone. We all need to improve our physical foundations, not simply building competent motor capacity, but the maturity of our frame depends on the quality of our "pump" over time. Chronic tension devalues the pump.

Whats the difference between products
Our courses are designed to take you through the entire MovMed model from start to finish. We have priced everything in relation to its entry point, with price increases the more complete the education. If you want to take the shortest route to "most informed", we recommend our Level 1-3 courses.
What if I can’t make the live coaching calls?
No worries—most live calls are recorded and shared with members, so you can watch them anytime.
Do I need any equipment?
Just a floor, your body, and your breath. Some routines may include suggestions for household items or simple tools, but nothing fancy is required.
Can I become a MovMed provider without going through level 1 & 2.
No, however upon release we will make MovMed In Clinic available without the same pre-requisites.
Do you offer any in person coaching?
Our options are as follows:

Private sessions with Nathan are available in limited supply. Contact us to arrange time/travel to work with Nathan.
We currently host 1-2 day workshops and 3-4 day certifications. As our team grows so to will our number of events. Reach out to have us travel to you!

Additionally after implementing MovMed drills into my daily practice I noticed how my internal world calmed down and I was able to relax and flow through my life, practices and games instead of constantly trying to up regulate myself through caffeine or other stimulants to deal with the stresses of the day. This made my life a lot more enjoyable and noticeably changed my personality and how I observed the world around me. MovMed drills and practices have also been a great framework I’ve used to deal with injuries and strains that happen throughout the season and I’ve found that if I can calm down and feel the area through plyo ball work or other drills that the pain will dramatically decrease.

Nate is also extremely skilled at hands on work and has helped me recover from a broken hand, and broken nose and I’ve recommended him to friends with a range of problems from anxiety to chronic immunological disease and he’s had great results with everyone.

I’ll continue to keep MovMed at the center of my daily routine.
